Robert Glasper continued his monthlong residency at New York's Blue Note on Tuesday night with the first of two evenings collaborating with bassist Christian McBride (who recently made a surprise appearance with Trey Anastasio at Jennifer Hartswick and Nick Cassarino's Rockwood Music Hall show) and multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Payton. Glasper played piano, keyboard and drums throughout the night, while Payton rotated between keys, drums and trumpet. Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the performance.
