Percussionist Will Calhoun hosted a couple of special shows at New York's Blue Note on Monday night with a group of Friends that included bassist Christian McBride, saxophonist Marcus Strickland, guitarist Kevin Eubanks and vocalist Ethel Calhoun. The evening's crowd even featured a couple of legendary drummers, Roy Haynes and Bernard Purdie. Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the performance.
