On February 14, Fiona Silver will release her new EP, Hostage of Love. Silver has toured extensively with Gary Clark Jr. over the past two years building a growing fan base for her dynamic, soulful performances. This energy is captured in her official video for “Hot Tears” from the forthcoming release which we premiere today.
Silver tells Relix, "’Hot Tears’ is a mix of memoriesand emotions, highs and lows, but all filled with passion. When I play thissong it's like a montage of different significant moments, and so it feltfitting that the video would be that way as well. We used a lot of footage fromtouring over the last two years. Life on the road is an adventure but it's alsorarely glamorous. I wanted to show what it was really like for us being in alittle van, or in the subway in NYC with all our gear, and then having theseincredible moments on stage as well. A lot of those shows were opening for GaryClark Jr. which was a wild and beautiful gift. The chorus of the song is reallyabout feeling broken down and still having hope or faith of some kind. Life islike that sometimes."
