On Saturday night, Melvin Seals & JGB headlined The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, with an opening set from Star Kitchen, the new funk-leaning project from Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein. The evening featured a number of collaborations, with Brownstein joining JGB and trumpeter/vocalist Jennifer Hartswick sitting in with both bands throughout the show.
