The M&M’s is a true supergroup, which melds Galactic’s rhythm section of Robert Mercurio and Stanton Moore with MMW keyboard player John Medeski and guitarist Papa Mali. Given the band members’ schedules, the quartet performs only limited dates, with their next show slated for Tipitina’s on Friday, April 26 (it’s a late night gig set for 2 AM, so technically early Saturday morning).

In anticipation, The M&M’s have released a new song, “Parachute” which we are premiering today. The band tells Relix that the tune “was written by Papa Mali and flushed out recently in the studio with the full band.  We personally love the sentiment and vibe we captured.  We are so excited to get together not only on the stage but working together as a group in the studio.”
