American folk icon and political activist Pete Seeger would have turned 100 on May 2, 2019.

Over his storied career, he founded the Almanac Singers and the Weavers, and collaborated with the likes of Woody Guthrie, Arlo Guthrie and many more. Born in Manhattan, Seeger first picked up a guitar at age 20 and made a substantial impact on the lives of countless musicians, activists and fans.
