On Monday morning, the joyously soulful rock-and-roll ensemble, Lake Street Dive, performed their final show at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. The performance was rescheduled from Friday after the band experienced a short bout of illness, and the Boston-bred band made sure to honor their fans' devotion.
Throughout the night, Lake Street Dive–comprised of Rachael Price (vocals), Bridget Kearney (bass), and Michael Calabrese (drums), along with keyboardist/vocalist Akie Bermiss and touring guitarist James Cornelison shared songs from their 2021 offering, Obviously, and a beautiful covers with an eclectism, expertise and irresistible abandon that has set them apart since their inception.
