The National Parks will release their fourth album Wildflower on April 17.

Today, the Utah-based band has shared the music video for the album’s title track, embracing their western roots with a cinematic tale of adventure and gun-slinging.

“This song is about staying true to who you are and not letting negativity bring you down. In my mind, a wildflower is something so beautiful that grows and blooms in unexpected places and under the wide-open skies,” explains lead vocalist/guitarist Brady Parks. “It was a dream come true to work on this video and [director] Jeremy Prusso really made it come alive with his vision and storytelling. The story is about the four of us all on separate journeys. We all overcome different obstacles on our way but in the end we meet up and bury a treasure together in the desert. We had a blast getting into character, throwing dirt on our faces and filming this video.”

In addition to the new LP, the band is also preparing for their own Superbloom Music Festival, which will take place Saturday, April 25 at The OC Tanner Amphitheater at Zion National Park in Utah.
