Charleston-based artist Keon Masters released his debut solo record, Many Thanks, in October of 2019, which featured the song “Feel Nuthin’.” Today, we premiere Masters’ video for the funky, bass-laden track.

The video is a collaboration with filmmaker Gunner Willis and features a brief, charming narrative section before the song begins. It stars Randy Havens, who some might recognize from his role as Mr. Clarke in Netflix’s Stranger Things.

“Gunner approached me in late 2018 with the desire to work on something together,” said Masters. “We spitballed a few ideas, but ultimately he came up with a concept and ran with it. He is incredibly professional and a joy to work with. His work speaks for itself. He has a great eye and a wonderful penchant for story telling.”

“It was fun to collaborate with a different vein of artists from South Carolina,” Masters continued. “Being entrenched in the music community it was especially rewarding to be surrounded by professionals of other art forms that are doing incredible work across the state and region.”
