Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion Celebrates Sound at South by Southwest (A Gallery)

Yesterday, the Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion made its return to the Empire Control Room & Garage in Austin, Texas. The first night, which was curated by Relix, saw incredible performances that showcased the wide variety and excellence that is celebrated at Brooklyn Bowls across the country.

The day started off with a performance by Goodnight, Texas, and continued with a set by husband and wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, The War and Treaty. Next came the soulful stylings of Devon Gilfillian, whose vocals and style earned immense applause. Sir Woman then ripped her discography with songs from her eponymous 2022 LP before Oh He Dead closed the day portion of the event out.

The night segment of the event–which connected industry professionals, music lovers, friends and family of the Brooklyn Bowl–began with Eshu Tune, also known as the beloved comedian Hannibal Burress. Later Kaelin Ellis shared their rocking inclinations, as did Monophonics. As the sun-set White Denim made their return to the Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion before a DJ Set by Dead Inside led the gathering to a close.

Tonight, Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion will celebrate again with a setlist curated by  Consequence with performances by Brigitte Calls Me Baby, Why Bonnie, Barrie, Sunflower Bean and The Nude Party during the day and Arcy Drive, The Moss, Ron Gallo, Thee Sacred Souls and Low Cut Connie, for the evening. Get tickets here.
