Mumford & Sons debuted their new electric sound on Saturday night as the band hit the stage on Saturday Night Live. Performing two songs, “The Wolf” and the lead single from Wilder Mind, “Believe,” the band seems to be thoroughly enjoying their freedom from the confines of folk rock as they practically levitated during both tunes, hammering away on their electric instruments.

The album, Wilder Mind, due out May 4 via Gentlemen of the Road Records, will be supported by a lengthy tour that includes a headlining gig at Bonnaroo. Check out the full schedule here. Replay the SNL performances below.
