Earlier this month, Minnesota-based bluegrass outfit Pert Near Sandstone released their new live album, Live at Blue Ox, which takes from the group’s appearance at this past summer’s Blue Ox festival in Eau Claire, WI. Today, we premiere a brand new video, taken from that same performance, of Pert Near performing “All Night Long,” along with a special guest.

‘”All Night Long’ is always one of our favorite songs to play live,” guitarist and vocalist J Lenz says of the raucous, energetic performance. “I feel it really sums up a Pert Near show experience in a way, and not just because I break a guitar string on this particular take. It’s a pretty simple old time blues traditional, with a call and response chorus that really gets the crowd involved, and is always great to have guest players up to jam on it. This video from our Live at Blue Ox recordings features one of my oldest friends Ryan Young from Trampled By Turtles on the fiddle.”
