As we note in our review of his new album, “Spin Doctors guitarist Eric Schenkman has always loved the blues, and he gives full rein to that side of his playing on Who Shot John?” Today we share a video premiere which offers a slice of Americana-flavored blues from the new record which also features drummers Cody Dickinson and Van Romane, and bassist/co-producer Shawn Kellerman. Schenkman explains that “Salvation (Lincoln’s Feat)” is “about being left high and dry with some decisions to make, about following your gut and coming out all right. The video was produced at Doghouse Toronto and shot at Silver Sands Motel as well as New York City, Toronto, and Wolfe Island, Canada, where the song was written.”
The video is below and you can also click here for a Live at Relix performance of the title track.
