Song Premiere: *repeat repeat “Apocalyptic” from Patrick Carney-produced ‘Glazed’

On May 31, Dangerbird Records will release Glazed, the new studio album from *repeat repeat. The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney produced Glazed, the follow-up to 2017’s Floral Canyon, which earned plaudits for the husband-and-wife team of Jared and Kristyn Corder. The new record offers soaring harmonies and pop hooks atop some angular rhythms and biting guitars. Jared Corder explains that “Patrick was deeply involved in every aspect of the album, and it sparked this whole new level of creativity in all of us. He was adamant about pushing us and working on something until we got it exactly right. It was really challenging at times, but I think it taught us how to make the best song that we can possibly make.”

Today we premiere “Apocalyptic” from Glazed (which is now available for pre-order). The band describes the tune as “a love song for the end of the world.

Following their release show on June 2nd in their homebase of Nashville, *repeat repeat will embark on their first headlining tour before joining The Black Keys on some fall dates. The tour itinerary appears the stream.
