From Jan. 6-8, trumpeter Maurice “Mo Betta” Brown celebrated his birthday at New York’s famed Blue Note Jazz Club with a number of special guests.
For the “Birthday Vibes Sessions,” Brown’s Free Nationals bandleader Anderson Paak was on hand to add improvised drums to the festivities, alongside guitarist Isiah Sharkey, rapper Talib Kweli and many others.
