On Saturday night Living Colour appeared at Irving Plaza and performed their record Vivid in its entirety. During the encore, bassist Doug Wimbish who started out as a member of the Sugar Hill Records house band welcomed Wonder Mike and Master Gee from the Sugarhill Gang, Melle Mel from Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five and Sugar Hill regular Keith Leblanc.
