I Can’t Stop Looking at This Picture of Dead & Company

I mean, look at this picture. Just look at it. Yes, you. Look. Now.
Why can’t I take my eyes off of this photo? Why do I get stuck on it every time I scroll through Instagram? Is it Mayer’s full-on “GQ photo shoot” face or the fact that Chimenti looks like he’s wearing full football pads? Maybe it’s the thought of Bill Kreutzmann laughing behind the camera as he observes his bandmates trying to recreate Varsity Blues. I don’t want to know, really, I just want to live in this photo forever.
This is a great photo. And I will be gazing at it ever so lovingly all weekend long. Happy Friday.
