On January 19-23, Gov’t Mule returned to Jewel Paradise Cove Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, for the 15th installment of their annual Island Exodus getaway. In addition to three two-set Mule shows and a special Warren Haynes afternoon solo set, Drive-By Truckers, Karina Rykman and Big Sugar each performed twice during the event. Here, Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott shares his perspective on the intimate beachfront mini-fest.
