The Hold Steady have officially unveiled the 2024 Massive Nights celebration, carrying the band’s longstanding annual tradition on for another year. Since 2016, the alt-rock vanguard has made a custom of welcoming its passionate fanbase to commune for a multi-night holiday celebration at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Brooklyn Bowl; today’s announcement calls on the community once more, extending an invite for December 4-7.
For 2024, the band will expand its concept to a four-night bash full of extra odds and ends. Each night this year, the band will host a different surprise special guest for an onstage collaboration. On Wednesday, Dec. 4, the band will set off its latest program with a Hold Steady-themed pub quiz, and on Friday, Dec. 6, it will host an exclusive sound check and happy hour. As a cherry on top, the celebration will have exclusive merch and more goodies, which can be secured in advance through a bundle ticket.
“Massive Nights is the biggest and best part of the Hold Steady calendar,” says frontman Craig Finn. “It brings people from around the globe to celebrate the community around THS, which is the most remarkable part of our 21 years as a band. Each year seems to top the last, and we are highly anticipating this year’s installment, the ninth overall.”
Presale for The Hold Steady’s Massive Nights series begins tomorrow, August 13 at 12:00 p.m. ET. General on-sale follows on Friday, August 16 at 10:00 a.m. ET. For tickets and more information, visit theholdsteady.net.
