Song Premiere: Little Hurricane “Isn’t It Great”

On April 14, Mascot Records will release Same Sun Same Moon, the new studio album from  Little Hurricane. This is the third full-length from the project, which pairs Anthony “Tone” Catalano  (guitar/vocals) and Celeste “C.C.” Spina (drums/vocals). Since forming eight years ago in San Diego they have toured throughout the globe, including opening slots for Manchester Orchestra, John Butler Trio and The Specials.

Today we premiere “Isn’t It Great” from Same Sun Same Moon, which is now available for pre-order. Spina tells Relix, “'Isn't it Great' is a song that is inspired by an airplane crash that Tone was involved in as a child. We expanded on what he experienced and let our imaginations run wild, creating a much more dramatic story where you realize death is imminent and you choose to enjoy the last moments of life before making final impact. We think the song is a great metaphor for being alive, where although we are all moving towards a mortal ending, it's important to enjoy the ride while you can.”
