On Wednesday, November 26, an annual Big Easy tradition continued at Tipitina’s in New Orleans. The pre-Thanksgiving festivities brought together a crowd of talented musicians to pay tributes to Art Neville and Eddie Bo. The night built off previous installments of the concert series, which honored other Crescent City luminaries, like Irma Thomas, Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Fats Domino, Professor Longhair, and Earl King.

The evening consisted of a plethora of performances which drew on material associated with Neville and Bo. Included in the night’s deliveries were an assortment of talented guests, such as  Art’s longtime bandmate George Porter Jr., taking the slot of bandleader, with core backing group consisting of David Torkanowsky, Kyle Roussel, Chris Adkins, Terrence Houston, Tony Dagradi, Brad Walker and Tracy Griffin, and guests, Cyril Neville, Ivan Neville, Deacon John, Stanton Moore, Jon Cleary, Ian Neville, Tony Hall, Jelly Joseph, River Eckert, Marilyn Barbarin and, Amelia Neville.
