Watch The Raconteurs Play Two ‘Help Us Stranger’ Tracks on ‘Kimmel’

The Raconteurs released their third studio album, Help Me Stranger, last month and yesterday the group stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles to offer up live takes on a couple of the LP’s tracks,

Showcasing different sides of their eclectic musical output, the band played one song that features Brendan Benson on lead vocals, followed by one that saw fellow singer-songwriter Jack White take over. First up was “Somedays (I Don’t Feel Like Trying),” an introspective tune led by Benson featuring a coda that builds on the repeated, defiant phrase, “I’m here right now/ I’m not dead yet.” The band then treated the crowd to the bombastic “Don’t Bother Me,” which aligns more closely to White’s more rocking solo output.

Watch The Raconteurs’ performances below. The band is currently on tour in support of Help Me Stranger, playing tonight at LA’s Greek Theatre. See their full schedule here.
