Video Premiere: My Goodness “Sweet Tooth”
Seattle-based rock trio My Goodness continues to build a national follow with their latest tour set to kick off at month’s end. Today we premiere the official video for “Sweet Tooth” from their Shiver + Shake album (which is available at iTunes). The group’s Joel Schneider tells Relix, “Sweet Tooth is one of the first songs we wrote as a three piece band. I think the addition of bass in the song writing process really sets it apart from some of the other songs on Shiver + Shake. There is a dynamic level to the song that was tough for us to achieve before as a duo. The bass line really carries the song throughout the verses which allows the guitar line to be more reserved until the pre-chorus kicks in. We let our good friend Ryan Rothermel run with his vision for this video. Sweet Tooth is about the start of a new relationship and the indecision and insecurities that can come along with it. I think Ryan did a great job keeping the video bright and fun to watch and at the same time still maintaining an undertone of what the song is about. We are really happy with the way it turned out. Enjoy!”
