"Tube" for the most part in the 3.0 era has been extremely hit or miss. The days of the '97 "Tube" jams are long, long gone. Instead, Phish now opts for a tighter, more focused version of the song and just when it feels like they're about to take the leap of faith into the depths of the funk world--it ends.
That wasn't the case in 2012 when Phish rolled into SPAC (as they will tonight) and dropped a bit of "Psycho Killer" in the middle of a "Tube" jam that ignited the crowd. Watch the replay of all the madness from SPAC in 2012 below.
