Over the course of a career that began in 1997, the Rondo Brothers (Jim Greer and Brandon Arnovick) have worked with Foster The People, Galactic, Prince Paul (De La Soul), Angelo Moore (Fishbone), Ivan Neville and many, many others. On their forthcoming record, Shadow Government (Shadow Series, Volume 1), due out on March 4, the San Francisco-based production and performance team welcome such collaborators as: Rachel Fannan (Sleepy Sun) , Kelly Atkins (20 Minute Loop) and Olga Kapusting. The first single, which we premiere today, “Yosemite Das,” features author and guru Bagavan Das. Jim Greer describes it as “a meditation and beat-oriented mantra for the masses.”
