Watch Jack White Tear Up Lollapalooza with “Catch Hell Blues”

Earlier this month, Lollapalooza returned to Chicago’s Grant Park, and Jack White closed out the festival with a rager of a set, as the garage-rock icon continues to rip through his summer headlining and festival tour. Red Bull TV offered a free webcast of select sets from Lolla, and now they’ve shared some pro-shot footage of songs and interviews from the weekend, including two of White’s Sunday-night offerings.
“Catch Hell Blues,” a cut from The White Stripes 2007 album Icky Thump, is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: a barn-burning, slide-guitar-blues explosion, and White brought the fire in this live version. White isn’t out there alone, however, as the rocker has been touring all summer with a stellar band featuring drummer Carla Azar, bassist Dominic Davis and dual keyboardists Quincy McCrary and Soulive’s Neal Evans. In the other newly released video for White’s solo tune “Love Interruption,” Evans lets loose with an organ solo to cap off the performance.
