Tour Diary: Noah Kahan

Noah Kahan has clearly arrived. Since releasing Stick Season, his third full-length album, last October, the Vermont-bred singer-songwriter has been on the ascent, winning over fans with his honest, authentic brand of organic pop music. He’s grown into a must-see live act too, and the most recent legs of The Stick Season Tour have taken him to iconic stages like New York’s Radio City Music Hall, Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre and Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, as well as festivals like Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza. As he prepares for a slate of top-shelf 2023 appearances at marquee spaces like Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl and Fenway Park, the New England native looks back on some highlights from his recent run.

“Every time I think I’ve peaked, I play a show like this at Lollapalooza and feel like I’ve peaked again.”

“Thank you, LA, for finally ‘getting me to the Greek.’”

“A day off in Dillon, Colo.”

“Coming offstage after an amazing set at Outside Lands. I was so far from home, but the crowd made me feel like I was right there.”

“Performing to a packed crowd at Austin City Limits—one of my favorite shows of all time.”

“Backstage at Ocean’s Calling before the show.”

“Enjoying some downtime before soundcheck in San Diego.”

“Here we are at the legendary Red Rocks. Playing this venue was a dream I refuse to wake up from.”

“We’re back for the second weekend of Austin City Limits. I’m ready to do it all over again.”
