Widespread Panic’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Set Time Shifts to 2 p.m. Due to Weather Concerns
Widespread Panic’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival set time has shifted.
Due to weather concerns, the band’s highly anticipated appearance at the Fair Grounds Race Course will now start at 2 p.m. local time. Initially, the band was scheduled to take the stage around 4:30 p.m., but their set time was ultimately pushed forward due to predicted showers and thunderstorms this afternoon.
Today, Thursday, April 30, resumes festivities across the festival campus. Additional acts slated to perform during the onset of the event’s second and final weekend include Lake Street Dive, Leela James, Lettuce, Alejandro Escovedo, Fred Wesley and his New JBs, Grace Bowers, Sweet Crude, Buckwheat Zydeco Jr. and The Legendary Ils Sont Partis Band, Zigaboo Modeliste Funk Revue and many more.
