The Civil Wars Announce New Album

Back in November The Civil Wars cancelled all of their upcoming shows. At that time Joy Williams and John Paul White issued a statement that read, “due to internal discord and irreconcilable differences of ambition we are unable to continue as a touring entity at this time. We thank each and every one of you for your amazing love & support. Our sincere hope is to have new music for you in 2013.” As it turns out, they do have new music for us in the form of their self-titled sophomore album. This is the follow up to the three-time Grammy Award-winning duo’s acclaimed debut, Barton Hollow_.
