Previously, Dave Matthews Band, Warren Haynes Band, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and Goose, and an exceptional list of guests announced their inclusion in the Nov. 24, 2024, SOULSHINE benefit concert to aid relief and recovery efforts in Western North Carolina and Florida in the wake of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. While the multi-set event at New York’s Madison Square Garden is sold out, a global livestream will now connect folks at home with the action in the Big Apple. 

Produced by Volta Media and hosted on YouTube, the livestream is sponsored by Cisco Systems and will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. E.T. In addition to the headlining acts, the charitable occasion will also boast appearances by Phish’s Trey Anastasio, Mavis Staples, Robert Randolph, Joe Russo, Trombone Shorty, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, and more to be announced.

SOULSHINE will occur after Dave Matthews Band concludes its Fall 2024 Tour, slated for two back-to-back sold-out concerts at Madison Square Garden on the nights leading to the benefit, Nov. 22 and 23. In effect, DMB will take part in three consecutive shows at MSG. 

The event’s net proceeds will go toward the SOULSHINE Concert Fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, supporting Habitat for Humanity’s 2024 Hurricane Recovery Fund and various non-profits active in recovery efforts in North Carolina and Florida.
