Greensky Bluegrass Confirm Chicago New Year’s Run

Greensky Bluegrass have confirmed their New Year’s Eve plans. Arriving at the end of a busy year, the musicians will bring 2026 to a close with a two-night run at Chicago’s The Salt Shed on December 30 and 31. The new dates come as the group embarks on a summer tour across the US, with marquee stops at New York’s The Rooftop at Pier 17, Buffalo, NY’s Town Ballroom, Portland, OR’s McMenamins Crystal Ballroom and a two-night stand at Vail, CO’s Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater currently on the books. In August, the band will also join Goose for shows in Bend, OR, and Seattle and perform with their old friend Billy Strings at the Ionia Freak Fair. The Michigan-bred outfit previously appeared at The Fairgrounds at The Salt Shed in June of 2025.

Greensky recently released the documentary Find Ourselves Lost, The Iceland Sessions. The film captures the ensemble recording 2024’s The Iceland Sessions in rural North Iceland and takes a deep look at their creative process and inner-band dynamics.

Up next, Greensky will appear at the Clyde Theatre in Fort Wayne, IN, this Thursday, July 16.
