Relix Magazine is currently seeking editorial interns for this semester. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience working on Relix Magazine, Relix.com, and Jambands.com.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Researching news for website content (upcoming tours, artist announcements, etc.)
• Creating social media content (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
• Editing articles for online and print Relix publications and Jambands.com
• Transcribing interviews for upcoming articles/features
• Contributing to news on jambands.com

Requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to work 2-3 days per week, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. E.T.
• Passion for both music and editorial work
• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
• Prior knowledge of bands in the Relix sphere is a plus
• Prior knowledge of Instagram stories is a plus
• Experience in editorial environments (college publications, online blogs, etc.) is a plus
• Interest and background knowledge in jam music and associated artists

The internship can be used for college credit when applicable.
