Today, Relix and Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camp announced their partnership and plans to present the inaugural RELIX ROCK CAMP. The gathering, which will take place over four evenings at The Cutting Room in New York City from Oct. 27 through Oct. 30, will feature instruction, masterclasses, Q&A’s and jamming with some of the finest musicians and instructors of the current era.

“I am super psyched to take what we do in our venues and expand it, for the first time, to a Musical Camp,” said concert promoter and Relix publisher Peter Shapiro. “Especially in partnership with David Fishof and his crew, who have been doing this really well for a long time. We are definitely going to make some new magical memories together.”

RELIX ROCK CAMP aims to create a musical experience and allow musicians and vocalists to take their confidence and skills to the next level, realize their dreams are possible and create bonds and friendships with fellow aspiring musicians for life. The list of counselors includes Phil Lesh, John Scofield, Robert Randolph, Gary Hoey, Derek St. Holmes, Scott Sharrard, Alex Koford, Ross James, Tony Leone, Tash Neal, Steve Leisman, Lo Faber, Leslie Mendelson, Michael Falzarano and Fuzz. More rockstar counselors are expected to be announced soon.

Fans will have the opportunity to jam with Lesh in a private studio and will have the chance to perform live on Sunday night as a final concert to showcase just how much they’ve learned in front of family, friends and jamband fans from The Cutting Room’s stage.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp founder David Fishof shared his elation over the upcoming event saying, “I’m so excited to offer campers the opportunity to jam with the legendary original bass player of the Grateful Dead Phil Lesh and so many other incredible musicians.” He continued to express his relation toward the collaboration with Relix: “On top of it, to partner with Peter Shapiro and the entire Relix team for this camp is an honor. In the past, we have had the pleasure of having Mickey Hart, Jeff Beck, Brian Wilson, Roger Daltrey, Bill Wyman, Alice Cooper and more at our Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camps, and we are excited to welcome these new first-time artists joining us at this camp.”
