Railroad Earth, Yonder Mountain String Band and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country Join Forces For Collaborative Summer Tour
This summer, three of the jam world’s foremost acts will band together for an unforgettable live series. From July 6-20, Railroad Earth, Yonder Mountain String Band and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country will deliver 11 co-headline performances, featuring sets from each outfit and doubtlessly some surprise collaborations.
The three-band caravan will kick off their summer sprint with a staging at Kind of Prussia, Pa.’s Heuser Park on July 6. After the encore, the groups will roll away to the Southeast for a stand at Atlanta’s Tabernacle on July 10, then double back to Asheville, N.C. for a July 11 date at Asheville Yards featuring Railroad Earth, Yonder Mountain String Band and a third group yet to be announced. With a show at Wilmington, N.C.’s Brooklyn Arts Center on July 12, the trio will dart down the coast again to close out the tour’s first leg with a St. Augustine, Fla.’s St. Augustine Amphitheatre on July 13.
Railroad Earth, Yonder Mountain String Band and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country will resume their rounds by pulling up to Cincinnati’s Riverside Live on July 15, then trucking to Nashville, Ind.’s Brown County Music Center on the following evening. On July 17, the bands will deliver another stellar multi-set show at St. Louis’ Atomic Pavillion, then reunite as a trio for one final engagement at Kansas City, Mo.’s Grinders on July 18. Railroad Earth and Yonder Mountain String Band will close out the series as a pair at Omaha, Neb.’s Falconwood Park on July 19 and Minneapolis’ Utepils Brewing on July 20.
“We can’t wait to set out on the road with our friends Yonder Mountain String Band & Daniel Donato in July,” Railroad Earth’s Carey Harmon shared in a release. “These are the moments (we and) our fans live for, so to be able to get out and do this run is a dream come true.”
