Back in May, Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien released his second solo album. Blue Morpho was the first record under his own name following 2020’s Earth, which was credited to EOB. The new album finds O’Brien exploring contemplative spaces with a psychedelic sheen.

O’Brien has just shared “Abberycwmhir,” which did not appear on Blue Morpho. The song, which is named for a Wales village, was previously available only via the “Blue Morpho” 7” single. “Abberycwmhir,” an ambient, atmospheric track which complements the material on Blue Morpho, is currently available on multiple platforms.

Looking ahead, O’Brien has confirmed a series of European dates. Those confiemed show appear below, along with audio of “Abberycwmhir” and the short film about Blue Morpho.
