moe. have had a jam-packed 2025. Since the beginning of the year, the beloved jam innovators have tirelessly trekked across the country in a continuous celebration of their 35th anniversary. Along the way, they’ve staged many memorable moments, including participation in the Jazz Fest highlight A Dream We Dreamed: A New Orleans Tribute to Phil Lesh, a full-band team-up with Umphrey’s McGee, a slew of impromptu collaborations of their recent co-headline tour with Eggy and, over the weekend, a guest spot from Warren Haynes in Maine. On top of their packed live itinerary, the band released Circle of Giants, their exceptional 14th studio album, in January. All these landmarks are cause for celebration, and moe. have unveiled plans to do just that with a year-end hometown show.
On December 27, moe. will return to their Albany, N.Y. stomping grounds for a grand finale to their 35th Anniversary Tour. In an announcement post to their social channels, the group detailed that the staging at the Palace Theatre, their longtime haunt since at least ‘96, will be “your last chance to party with moe. in 2025!” The performance will feature support from Greenwich, N.Y.-based outfit Eastbound Jesus and double as the official retirement party for storied promoter Greg Bell of Guthrie Bell Productions, a fixture of the capital city’s music scene and old friend to moe. Presale tickets for the Albany show will go on sale tomorrow, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m., with a general on-sale to follow on Friday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m.
moe. still have miles to go before they can put this year in the rearview. The band will take the stage next at Las Vegas’ Bender Jamboree, which will return to Sin City from Sept. 10-13. They’ll go on to present 17 further performances across the country through mid-November, including an Oct. 11 show at Port Chester, N.Y.’s Capitol Theatre, for which they just today announced a special guest appearance from Tom Hamilton.
