Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country Share New Music Video for “Sunshine in the Rain”

In August, Daniel Donato released Horizons, his long-awaited fourth studio album. The rising Nashville-based axeman’s latest studio set is a document of his artistic cultivation in the two years since he shared Reflector with his Cosmic Country band, clearly announcing his distinct style as a devotee of country’s rich history and determined pioneer for its future. Since the album’s unveiling, Daniel Donato’s Country have followed their momentum to memorable moments onstage and off, including the triple-header showcase they staged to accompany the record’s arrival in Music City and the announcement of their third annual Camp Cosmic event at The Caverns. Today, the band has continued their celebration with a new music video for “Sunshine in the Rain.”
“Some moments in life, you’re aware enough to see signs that tell you that you’re in the right place at the right time, even when life is applying pressure to you to transform you into a diamond,” Donato reflected on the track in a release. “Destiny is at hand, and there are synchronicities to prove it. ‘Sunshine In The Rain’ is a tune that sheds inspiring light to these subtle moments to reveal the large Cosmic scale they are functioning on.”
Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country will return to the state tomorrow, Sept. 12, for a set at Las Vegas’ Bender Jamboree. The band will continue with a total of 28 further performances across the country through the year, including stops at Boston’s Royale, Atlanta’s Buckhead Theatre, Port Chester, N.Y.’s Capitol Theatre, Minneapolis’ First Avenue and Denver’s Ogden Theatre before finally culminating in the return of their Cosmic Christmas Jam, set to stage at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Dec. 5 and 6.
