Blue Note Jazz Club has officially released the full artist lineup for its 2025 Blue Note Jazz Festival, returning from May 27 to July 2 at eight high-profile venues around New York City. The festival’s 14th annual iteration will be led by an unprecedented pairing of Grace Jones & Janelle Monae, who top a bill featuring 40 celebrated acts from the worlds of jazz, soul, hip-hop, funk, rock and everything in between. Many of the artists featured will perform multiple times throughout the series, amounting to a total of 64 concerts.

The festivities will begin on May 27 with a 100th birthday celebration for the saxophonist, flutist and bebop innovator James Moody at Sony Hall, featuring Randy Brecker, Terri Lyne Carrington, Paquito D’Rivera, Christian McBride and more. The ensuing month of programming will present a vast array of high-profile artists and special collaborations, including Branford Marsalis, Charles Lloyd, Marcus Miller, The Music of Buena Vista Social Club, Kenny Garrett, Santigold, Brandee Younger, The Soul Rebels, Azymuth, Savion Glover, Chuck Prophet & Cumbia Shoes, Louie Vega & The Elements Of Life, Warren G with Chris Rob, Rebirth Brass Brand, Gino Vanelli, BALTHVS and more. These concerts will take place at Blue Note, Sony Hall, SummerStage in Central Park, BRIC’s Celebrate Brooklyn, The Town Hall and National Sawdust.
