On Oct. 30, Leon Bridges opened night one of three at New York’s highly regarded Beacon Theatre. To start the night, Hermanos Gutiérrez enchanted the audience with Latin-tinged instrumentals before the main act stepped out for his 20-song main set, which pulled heavily from 2024’s self-titled Leon–performing nine of the album’s 13 total tracks.
Apart from Leon, Coming Home was the second-most featured album during the Tuesday night concert, creating an arc between the artist’s latest material and season deliverables from his debut set, including the LP title track, which remains a fan favorite, as well as the neo-soul-leaning “River.”
Also included in Bridges’ Coming Home collection, “Lisa Sawyer” doubled as the night’s initial encore, paving the way for the night’s closer, “Beyond.” In attendance was photographer Ari Cummings, who shared photos from the show. Scroll down to view.
