On Wednesday, April 9, Dawes took their current tour, which supports their latest studio LP, the October 2024-released Oh Brother, to Woodstock, N.Y.’s historic Bearsville Theater. During the 16-song main frame, brothers Griffin and Taylor, along with their band gave legs to select pulls from across their discography.

During the night, the band paid homage to Los Angeles from the very start of the concert, which found its footing on “Mister Los Angeles” clear through their encore, Randy Newman’s “I Love LA,” which they released as a single following the January’s wildfires, which claimed Griffin’s home and most of the band’s equipment.

Intermixed with the night’s thoughtful nods to home was a mellow rendition of “Time Spent in Los Angeles” (maintaining the motif above), an acoustic take on “St Augustine at Night” and “A Little Bit of Everything” that saw Taylor on keys.

Bahram Foroughi attended the concert and shared his shots with Relix. See below.
