Today is a day that ends in “y” which means it’s a great day to revisit the massive “Chalk Dust Torture” Phish uncorked at Randall’s Island last year. The band’s tour starts tomorrow, and if Trey’s inspired playing over the Fare Thee Well run didn’t get you excited, a reminder that the band is capable of this just might do it. Over the course of 28 minutes, Phish played like the Energizer Bunny, refusing to quit even when it would’ve been perfectly acceptable to move on to the next tune. What resulted is the highlight of 2014, Phish 3.0, and possibly the greatest version of the song ever played. 

As a reminder, Phish hits the stage tomorrow in Bend, OR and lucky for you and lovers of all things good, both shows will be webcast.
