Watch: The Highwomen Make Late-Night TV Debut on ‘The Tonight Show’

The Highwomen—the new supergroup made up of singer-songwriters Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Amanda Shires and Natalie Hemby—will release their self-titled debut studio album Sept. 6, and the quartet of vocalists stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon yesterday to offer a couple of performances, including one of their first single, “Redesigning Women.”

Carlile, Morris, Shires and Hemby were backed by a band that featured Jason Isbell on guitar and Carlile’s longtime collaborators Phil and Tim Hanseroth, and the collective ran through both the classic-country, slightly tongue-in-cheek lead single and “Crowded Table,” a new tune on the LP written by Carlile, Hemby and Lori McKenna.

Watch the performances below.

The Highwomen made their official debut this past weekend with their first full-set show together at Newport Folk Festival, and the members also participated in the festival’s ♀♀♀♀ Collaboration that included a number of special guests like Dolly Parton, Judy Collins and Linda Perry.
