On June 13 Lettuce and The Soul Rebels will share the bill for a free show at Central Park SummerStage. To mark the occasion they’ve just released a live performance video of D’Angelo’s “Lady” with a guest appearance by Lettuce co-founder Eric Krasno from Tipitina’s in New Orleans on January 24. The band tells Relix, “We’ve been playing D’Angelo’s music on and off for the last couple of months and having Krasno rock with us at our show at Tipitina’s this year was a blast. Eric was in town with us that weekend in New Orleans working with us and producing our next album. He’s a true inspiration and we are very excited and blessed to work together and continue to play live with Soulive and Lettuce. Our upcoming shows with Lettuce in Central Park in June and in New Orleans in April are going to be historic.”

The group’s upcoming shows include many headlining performances as well as dates with Umphrey’s McGee, Gov’t Mule and Michael Franti & Spearhead.
