Premiere: The Main Squeeze “It Ain’t Me”
A few years ago, we wrote that “The Main Squeeze blends soulful vocals, jazzy guitar riffs and a high-energy groove to form a sound that is slowly bringing the band to global attention.” The quartet continues to gain renown and maintains an active tour schedule that finds the band regularly performing upwards of 100 shows per year.
Today we premiere the group’s new single, “It Ain’t Me,” which will be released on Friday. The band tells Relix, “We’re excited to share this one. We worked with a great producer named MARØ who became a friend which is always the best type of collaboration. We feel like he helped us find a really cool dimension to the band’s sound, the record has an attitude to it and it sort of has two sides to it musically and flips back and fourth, it was a lot of fun to make.” The song can now be pre-saved so that folks can add it to to their favorite playlist before it goes live. In addition, the band will kick off an extensive fall tour this on Saturday in Los Angeles, with the upcoming dates listed below the stream.
