Marcus King Band in San Francisco (A Gallery)

Guitarist Marcus King brought his band to the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on Tuesday night, offering a show that featured covers like the Grateful Dead’s “Fire on the Mountain,” The Meters’ “He Bite Me” and an encore-closing take on Marshall Tucker Band’s “Take the Highway” featuring special guest Drew Smithers from supporting act Bishop Gunn. King and company also played some tracks from their upcoming album, Carolina Confessions, which drops October 5. Stuart Levine shared some photos from the show.
