From March 27-30, The Soul Rebels stormed the stage at New York’s Blue Note Jazz Club for another highly-anticipated series on the storied stage. For their third annual residency at the venue, the New Orleans brass giants teamed up with genre-bending organist, Snarky Puppy veteran and longtime collaborator Cory Henry to share a heaping helping of hip-hop-infused bayou jazz-funk through eight performances. Among the run’s many highlights was a ripping take on Stevie Wonder’s “Master Blaster” helmed by Henry and bolstered by the full ensemble

The Soul Rebels will return to The Big Easy on April 3 for the first of many hometown shows leading up to New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which begins on April 24. For tickets and more information on the band’s full tour itinerary, visit thesoulrebels.com/tour-dates.
