A photo of Mike Gordon and Broad City‘s Ilana Glazer is currently whizzing around the internet, fueling a rumor that the Phish bassist will make a cameo on the fifth and final season of the Comedy Central hit.

Show co-creators Glazer and Abbi Jacobson are in the midst of filming on the streets of New York City, and through the show’s previous four seasons, Phish has popped up time and time again as an allusion to Jacobson’s real-life past as a Phishead.

“I used to go to a lot of jam and Phish shows,” Jacobson told Relix of her teenage years growing up outside Philadelphia. “That’s what we did on the weekends— we’d see shows. It’s just such an amazing, rare thing to put yourself in that situation where you are improvising onstage.”

Lately, the connection between Broad City and Phish has only grown deeper.

Trey Anastasio shouted out Glazer and Jacobson during an acoustic gig in February, dedicating “Cavern” to the duo and calling them “two of the coolest women,” alongside his wife and two daughters.

“We are literally freaking out,” Glazer and Jacobson said after hearing about the impromptu dedication.

Also, during summer tour, Jacobson visited Gordon, Anastasio and keyboardist Page McConnell backstage at Camden, NJ’s BB&T Center. She even snapped few photos with the band.

“I died,” the comic wrote, joking about meeting her teenage heroes.

No word yet on the nature of Gordo’s appearance on the show, but here’s hoping for a long union between Phish and Broad City.
