Krist Novoselic Went to a Foo Fighters Show and Live-Tweeted the Whole Thing
Once upon a time, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl played in a small Seattle band called Nirvana. Now, they still run in the same circles, reuniting ever so often to play with the likes of Paul McCartney as well as jamming in the studio together (Novoselic appeared on Foo Fighters’ Wasting Light record). The other night in Portland, OR as the Foo Fighters’ massive Sonic Highways world tour continued, the Nirvana bassist was in attendance to cheer on his former bandmate and thankfully documented the whole experience on Twitter.
You can scroll through the whole feed if you wish, but here are some highlights below. Novoselic seemed to catch nearly every tune played that night (25 in all) along with some additional nuggets throughout the show. He closed the night with a declaration that the Foos are indeed “the best band in the world!” Take a look below.
