Here’s Eddie Vedder Busking on the Street Outside of Wrigley Field

September 16, 2017

Eddie Vedder celebrated the Chicago Cubs’ 8-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals with some tunes outside of the very friendly confines of Wrigley Field, as the Pearl Jam frontman grabbed a guitar and joined a couple of street performers for what appears to be a jam centered around the PJ anthem “Corduroy.”

With those exiting the stadium stopping when they realized just who it was performing, the crowd grew quickly as Vedder jammed with the drummer. This wasn’t the first time Vedder popped up near Wrigley for an impromptu jam. Last fall during the team’s historic run to the World Series, he sang “The Weight” with Derek Trucks and Bill Murray at an undisclosed hour of the then morning after one of the games.
