Spike Lee will present a new documentary on Michael Jackson dubbed Michael Jackson’s Journey from Motown to Off the Wall set to air on Showtime on February 5 after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24. 

To mark the announcement, a trailer for the film is now out, with commentary from the likes of David Byrne, Questlove, The Weeknd and others. The hot-button issue in the trailer is what the hell MJ is saying in “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough.” Byrne jokes, “It had these bizarre lyrics, to me, that were quoting Star Wars.” Quest adds, “I thought it was about forks. When I was a kid, I was just like ‘keep on with the forks.’ I didn’t know what the forks were.” 

The documentary will also be released on February 26, where it will be bundled with copies of Jackson’s 1979 record. Watch the trailer below.
